Murphy was an amazing tour guide! We had so much fun on the tour! We saw Tianamen Square, the Forbidden Palace, and the Mutianyu Great Wall! Murphy did a great job of sharing China's history and culture with us! He was very fun and lively, and organized. I would recommend this tour to anyone spending a couple of days in Beijing. It's a great day trip! Be prepared to walk up hill and down hill around the wall and on the wall, wear layers if you are visiting in the Springtime, there are two shopping stops, stone factory and tea shop. The tea tasting was very informative and the tea was good.

The half-day tour of the Terra Cotta Warrior Museum was well-organized and informative, with a highly knowledgeable guide Rita who expertly explained the history of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the significance of the terracotta army, and the detailed craftsmanship of the figures. Rita’s clear and engaging explanations, along with thoughtful answers to questions, enriched the experience and allowed for a thorough understanding of the site without feeling rushed, making the visit both educational and memorable. After the visit we had a nice buffet lunch. Overall recommended!

Lily was our guide for our trip in Xi’an, China. She took us to see the pagoda and the terracotta warriors. She is very knowledgeable about history and explained everything in detail to us and in an interesting way for the kids. She recommended us an excellent restaurant where we were able to eat local delicacies such as the famous biang biang noodles, duck and pork ribs. Our tour guide, Celine, was incredibly communicative the day before the tour, confirming our hotel details and letting us know exactly when she and the driver would pick us up. She has such a deep knowledge of the history of the Terracotta Warriors and the Dragon Emperor, and her enthusiasm was truly infectious. She pointed out specific relics to look out for in the museum and patiently waited while everyone took their fill of photos.

Celine also showed incredible care for the group. During the rain, she handed out umbrellas and raincoats, and she was constantly doing headcounts to ensure no one was left behind. One thing that really stood out was when she helped an older gentleman who was leaving us early: she booked him a Didi taxi to the train station, helped him with his luggage, and gave him clear instructions on where to check in. She truly went above and beyond for us.

The tour covered the Terracotta Warriors and Museum, Wild Goose Pagoda, the City Wall, and the Muslim Quarter, and also included a complimentary buffet lunch at the Terracotta venue. It was excellent value for money, and we had a great time under Celine's exceptional care. We will definitely be recommending this tour to our family and friends.

We had the pleasure of touring the Terracotta Soldiers and the Wild Goose Pagoda with Celine, and she truly made the experience memorable. Traveling with a small group made it easy to ask questions, and Celine was incredibly informative throughout the day. She didn’t just share dates and facts — she brought the history and culture to life in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting.

At the Terracotta Soldiers, she pointed out details we absolutely would have missed on our own — from the differences in facial expressions and ranks to the fascinating stories behind their discovery. At the Wild Goose Pagoda, her explanations of its religious and cultural significance gave us a much deeper appreciation for the site.

Celine’s knowledge, clarity, and passion for sharing Chinese history really stood out. The only downside of the day was the buffet lunch at the museum—not her fault as navigating a small group tour to a local restaurant would’ve been challenging and take too long. She made up for it though with a fantastic recommendation at a local restaurant for dinner near our hotel.

Overall, we would highly recommend Celine to anyone wanting a rich, well-explained experience in Xi’an. She made the experience far more meaningful.

Traveled with three families (teenage kids) on this multi-day tour of Beijing. Kurt Luo was our guide -- clear communication and having an experienced guide was essential for navigating crowds and entrances to city attractions. We went to Jinshanling part of the Great Wall which was nicely restored and quiet. Kurt took us to a local farmhouse for lunch after the Great Wall hike and the dishes were delicious. Be sure to try the local tofu. On the other days we went to the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, and Lama Temple. We did short stops for the Peking University, Bird's Nest, and the Water Cube. Kurt took us to Manjie Dumplings for lunch and I would highly recommend the eggplant dish. Overall, a balanced itinerary and we had free time in the evenings. Thank you, Kurt, for a memorable intro to Beijing!

This was an amazing day - well paced for everyone. I did this tour with my baby and felt so welcomed and at ease. Murphy is so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating - if you want the best tour guide ask for him! It was so convenient to have hotel pick up and nice early start. It was nice to meet a lovely travel group friends. I am happy I reached the summit of Great Wall of China, see a Chinese traditional tea ceremony and have delicious food. Amazing! We had such a great experience at the Terracotta Warriors with our guide Rita! The view of the warriors is breathtaking and unique. Our guide Rita was very informative, speaks perfect English, and gave us the right timing for learning and exploring on our own.

We just spent 3 days on a tour with LJ and had an incredible experience! LJ is a premier tour guide -- he grew up in the Zhangjiajie area and is super knowledgeable as well as being enthusiastic and kind. His English is superb and honed by watching innumerable Hollywood movies, and he provided us with so many interesting stories and recommendations. He did a great job accommodating our multigenerational group, and he assisted the older family members while still ensuring that the younger people had many adventures. He importantly saved us time queuing in line by avoiding rush hour crowds. We wish all tour guides were like LJ!!

We all had a great day visiting Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City and an Afternoon on The Great Wall. I would recommend tobogganing down if you're able. Our guide Murphy was brilliant and was always on hand to help or answer questions. The lunch was pretty good too, there was plenty of different options and the tea tasting towards the end of the day was enjoyable and tasty! Thanks for a great day.

Our guide Lily & driver Mr Chan were excellent. Lily has a great command of English , is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the City and its history.
Our driver ,Mr Chan, was a very good driver in busy traffic and we had a very comfortable car. He was always on time.
The highlight for us was The Terracotta Army. Get there early and try and avoid public holidays otherwise you will queue for ages and fight for space with lots of people. We went on a quiet day and had a great experience.
Lilly also took us the Pegoda’s , the City Walls & the Muslim quarter, which all are worth visiting . The weather wasn’t great when we went to the City Walls and if it wasn’t raining we would have walked a lot further.
The Hotel chosen for us, The Somerset, is very modern & comfortable, great breakfasts and has a lovely top floor pool & gym.
Staff were very nice.

We had a wonderful experience visiting Xi’an with the support of Celine, who was our fun and extremely knowledgeable guide. I am very curious about history, and visiting the terracotta warriors with Celine’s help made the experience all the better! And also great to discover the heartwarming and historic corners of the city.

Carol was a great tour guide during my visit to Xi’an. She took us to the Terracotta Army, the City Wall, and the Pagoda, and everything was really well organized. She’s very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting history that made the sites much more meaningful. She was also really thoughtful throughout the day and clearly knows the area well. She took us to spots with fewer crowds and knew exactly where to go for the best pictures, which made a big difference.
On top of that, she was just a joy to be around. Friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole day feel relaxed and fun.
If you only have a short time in Xi’an and want to see a lot without feeling rushed, this is a great tour. I’d definitely recommend Carol.

I had an outstanding 2-day Beijing sightseeing tour, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The itinerary was packed with some of the most important and beautiful places in Beijing, including the Temple of Heaven, Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, Yuanqiutan, the Hutong tour, Lama Temple, Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the Forbidden City, and Mutianyu Great Wall. Every stop was well planned, smooth, and worth seeing.

What made this experience truly exceptional was our tour guide, Rocky. He did a fantastic job from start to finish. Everything was amazingly organized, on time, and stress free. Rocky was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire trip. He explained the history and cultural meaning behind each site in a way that made everything much more interesting and memorable. He also kept the group moving efficiently without ever making the tour feel rushed.

Rocky deserves a lot of credit for making this trip so enjoyable. His communication was excellent, his attitude was warm and positive, and he made sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. Visiting places like the Forbidden City and the Great Wall is already special, but having a guide like Rocky made the experience much better.

The price was also very affordable for everything that was included, and the overall value was excellent. Excellent! Helen was the perfect guide, polite and friendly, and made us all feel welcomed to the tour. I really enjoyed the day and Helen gave us really interesting information about the history of China. I learnt so much, it was great! The wall was a hard climb but very worth it. You only have to climb as far as you are comfortable, there's no pressure to do too much. I really loved the tea ceremony! The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square were beautiful and fascinating to see and hear the history that Helen told us about it. Thank you for such an enjoyable day with such a wonderful guide!

Tracy, our guide in Xi’an, gave us a wonderful introduction to the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. She also suggested several evening activities to help us experience the local atmosphere. Following her advice, we attended the Silk Road play, which turned out to be both entertaining and memorable.

If you are in Chengdu everyone knows you have to see the pandas! However, not everyone knows the best way to see them. Our private tour with guide Charles was more than we could have dreamed of. Charles was very knowledgeable about the base and of course the pandas. He was able to take us on the best route for the maximum panda experience, avoiding the masses while getting us the good spots for viewing. He was super patient while we took millions of photos and even showed us some camera phone tips to get the best results. Charles was phenomenal. He was professional, smart, helpful, friendly and engaging. He also had an amazing sense of humor. We would highly recommend this tour with Charles - he, and the tour made our day!. He’s one of the best as was Mr Leo - our driver.

Carol the guide and Mr Zhang the driver made my stay in Xi’an very comfortable and enjoyable. Carol is very informative, giving me much information about China, the city, and the sights we went to. Our trip began in Shanghai, where we visited the Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, Tianzifang, the Bund, and enjoyed a Huangpu River cruise and the incredible view from the Shanghai Tower. We also had a great day at Shanghai Disneyland. After that, we traveled comfortably by high-speed train to Beijing.

In Beijing, the highlights included Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, the Mutianyu Great Wall, and the Summer Palace. The Hutong rickshaw tour was also a unique cultural experience.

The guides and drivers were professional, punctual, and friendly. Everything was arranged seamlessly, making the trip very comfortable for our family with a young child.

We spent the Xi’an part of our China trip with the most amazing guide Carol - and driver Mr Li.. if you do this tour we highly recommend Carol and Mr Li - from the moment they picked us up from the train station until dropping us off once our stay was over, they were true professionals. During our two day stay we visited the Terracotta Warriors, Temples, Xi’an city wall and Park, and the Muslim Mosque & Quarter. We also got to make our own terracotta warrior and spent a delightful evening at a traditional Chinese show with dumpling dinner. Carol went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Aside from being an extremely knowledgeable guide for all the places of interest - we had some wonderful discussions about general Chinese history and everyday life. She was truly amazing and a fountain of knowledge! We cannot say enough good things about her and Mr Li! Thank you Carol for making our stay so enjoyable!
